To be brief: this was the kind of day that made me want to come home, plug in Battlefront, and spend the evening shooting Stormtroopers in the head.

Until I got home, opened the mailbox, and found my tax refund sitting there just as pretty as you please. Ahh, monies. You make it all better.

XD I like the way you think!

I'd do that, too, except I'm at a point in the game I'm playing where I'm outnumbered, outgunned and out-nanosuited, so it actually takes some work to get past that.

Although... you know what? I missed an objective a mission back. I guess I could redo that bit and ignore for now that I'm an idiot who can't properly invade a... whatever it is I'm invading right now. I'm a bit disorganized. I just go at every mission guns blazing, but actually I have no clue why I'm doing what I'm doing because I listen to music instead of the game. I guess my boss told me what I'm doing. I should try and find out how to turn on subtitles... *g*

But yay for action on bad days. :D
(I have a bag of potato chips here that is waiting for a particularly bad day to add 'that special extra' to shooting people. On most days, I'm good without. Especially on the days I know how bad a dinner chips make.)

I just love being able to shoot Stormtroopers specifically, as opposed to just anyone. XD If it's been a really bad day, I might branch out into battle droids. If there was a GW game where you could, say, pilot a Gundam and shoot at mobile dolls, that would be kind of awesome-filled.

Imagine that in multiplayer level. You could exchange sexy comments while killing mobile suits together. :D

I just found out there is Battlefront for mobile devices. And now I want a new phone, so I can camp out on a platform on Bespin and take out Stormtroopers anywhere.

I actually got a pretty good refund, since like 80% of my mortgage payments went to interest. My crappy-ass loan pays off, yay. But I'm expecting to spend it all over the next couple of weeks on new furniture for the boy's room and brake pads for the Honda o'Doom.

I watched the first one, and...and...I don't know. It was nice to see Lust about again, but apparently not nice enough to make me sit down for the second ep. :/ Have you been watching it?

No it does not! If anything, I think it made the head-shootings more satisfying, somehow. :D

I can understand that. The first week of a new month is always hell on wheels for us at work. The first things that people do after getting their checks is go buy food and go schedule that doctor's appointment (which then means that they're also seeing us at the pharmacy). This is, uh, why I have been so enraptured by the Grand Theft Auto ds game lately. Sure, blame it on work.

Sadly, I'm still waiting on my refund. *shakes fist*

I'm surprised mine came already. I hope this doesn't mean the IRS is stalking me to see how quickly I spend it. >.>;;
